Top 50 new energy vehicle sales in China in 2022

Based on the data of new vehicle traffic insurance, the annual sales volume of China's new energy passenger vehicles in 2022 totaled 5.249 million units, an increase of 79.3% from last year, and the penetration rate in the narrow passenger car market was 25.5% (for the whole year).

The annual total sales volume of the top ten models was 2.207 million units, accounting for 42.1% of new energy sales. Except for two models of Tesla, the rest were domestic brand models, and BYD had 6 seats. ID.4 CROZZ, the highest-selling model among Sino-foreign joint venture brands, ranked 29th, with annual sales of only 43,000 units.
